hi there! miss me?! haha, not that i'm going back on my word about not blogging for a month. it's just that i feel the need to say a few things.
and now my blog won't lose to esther's for being mouldy. ha!
because it was raining today, my papa left the front door open as it was cooler. not long after i got back.. okay, make that an hour after i got back, there was this malay lady who pressed our doorbell. since she asked for my parents.. i called my papa as there was only two of us at home.
then, out of curiousity, i listened in on the conversation. (hey! i'm entitled to listen anyway. coz i opened the door.) i heard the lady telling my papa that she's our neighbour. yes remember this. NEIGHBOUR. not from the left unit nor te right unit of our house, nor the one unit above or one unit below ours. she apparently was our neighbour from the 3rd floor.
okay so nvm. then she begin her story about how her child is sick, and her husband.. has gone to brunei? and she needed to borrow like 20 bucks to bring her baby see doctor. so my papa said okay though i knew he was doubtful. but who wouldn't?! i mean maybe me. coz when my papa only took out 10 bucks from his wallet which was all he had left for the day, i blatantly blurt out that i had money and could spare the lady the other ten since she asked for twenty. okay then my papa ignored me. and said he only had ten. the lady took the money and went away, promising us that she would repay us the money tmr.
do you believe her? well.. actually i do.
that's until my papa went out to buy dinner back for me and said that when he went to third floor to check on the woman, he found out that the unit that she said she was from, had a lot of people inside. that's the first. and he didn't see the woman there.
then he said we were conned. but actually up till now, i don't believe that we are.
but even if we are, the womn must be really desperate to resort to such tricks. maybe she really had a sick baby. furthermore it's their fasting month. she just night return us the money tmr k.
shall see about it tmr. you think she'll return the $$ ?
one can always hope. and i think she will. tell ya tmr!
